Many congratulations to our partners at Royal Mail and Persimmon Homes who have been recognised at the prestigious Princess Royal Training Awards.
The awards honour and celebrate employers who can prove that investing in training their staff has resulted in exceptional benefits for their business and highlight the range of quality training that exists across different sectors.
Both Royal Mail and Persimmon – corporate members of the Institute of Sales Professionals (ISP) – were recognised for their sales training excellence.
Royal Mail won two awards. One was for their Business-to-business (B2B) Sales Professional Apprenticeship Programme and the second for Inspiring a Sales Mindset for Growth.
Persimmon’s award for “An ethical approach to delivering excellent customer service” recognised the company’s partnership with the Institute of Sales Professionals.
Working with the ISP, Persimmon Homes has developed its Sales Excellence Programme to enhance customer service, maintain an ethical sales approach and advance employees’ sales careers.
Jon Nicholson, UK Sales Director at Royal Mail and Parcelforce said he was “very proud” to announce the news of their awards and praised “his brilliant team” for their “tireless work” on their degree apprenticeship and sales mindset for growth programmes.
Commenting on LinkedIn Jon said: “A big thank you to all the team that have committed to their development journeys through these programmes. Time is always at a premium, but your efforts and commitments are much appreciated.”
Patrick Joiner, managing director of the Institute of Sales Professionals said:
“The ISP is privileged to work with outstanding businesses that are committed to developing world class sales organisations on a foundation of professional and ethical sales practices and we are delighted that the achievements of Royal Mail and Persimmon, two of our corporate members, have been recognised by winning Princess Royal Training Awards.
“Many congratulations to them on their deserved success. We are proud they regard ISP membership as an important part of their award-winning sales training programmes.”
Recipients of the Princess Royal Training Award can display the award logo on their websites, business and recruitment communications and products, bringing industry-wide recognition. Winners also join the Princess Royal Training Awards alumni providing access to a network of award holders.
