New season of events to boost sales performance

The Institute of Sales Professionals (ISP) has unveiled a wide-ranging programme of autumn events to guide and inspire business-to-business sales professionals as the UK meets some of the toughest economic conditions for a generation.

Our webinars and in-person events include: advice on achieving sustainable high performance; understanding customers’ needs to create opportunities from new and existing clients; a guide to behavioural profiling, competency assessment and role play to get the best from new talent and existing sales staff; strategies to lift sales performance through continuous learning.

During our new season we are also working with partners to support two half-day conferences. One is the Northern Ireland Sales Summit in Belfast on 14 September; the other, in Birmingham on 22 September, is entitled: “Making success the norm”.

We have nine events in September alone, and more in October and November.

Our new series of events begins on Thursday 1 September with an online masterclass from sales thought-leader Jim Irving on understanding the buying process and the drivers in complex deals.

Jim, a multi-award-winning author, and co-founder at Practice Edge commented: “Delighted to be kick-starting the post-holiday webinar series. This session will be all about those big, complex deals. How to compete, how to win. Really looking forward to it.”

The ISP’s head of events, Annabelle Llanes, said: “Our programme of events is a fantastic opportunity to hear from some of the best sales experts in the business who will share their ideas, challenge our thinking and suggest solutions to boost selling performance.

“The Institute of Sales Professionals is the united voice of the sales profession helping our members to increasingly develop their skills and knowledge. Our webinars and meeting have been devised, not only to help and inspire, but also to bring together like-minded professionals, to discuss views and to build business relationships across the sales sector.

“We are looking forward to welcoming you soon to one of our events, either online or in person.”
