Supporting mental health in sales: We join forces with Wellity Global

In the week of World Mental Health Day, the Institute of Sales Professionals (ISP) is proud to announce a partnership with Wellity Global, the leading workplace wellbeing specialists who provide wellbeing consultancy and training to some of the largest global organisations and best-known brands in the world.

“It is difficult to imagine a profession where our successes and failures are more instantly visible or more starkly contrasted” said ISP MD, Patrick Joiner, “and as businesses struggle to emerge from the commercial stagnation of the last 18 months and adapt to new ways of working, the sales function is coming under ever greater scrutiny and the pressure placed on sales professionals has never been greater.”

“Working with Wellity Global, we will be offering support and advice to our members and offering them and their employers insights into how best to manage their mental wellbeing through these stressful times.

“Over the coming months we will be highlighting this issue in our member communications, on our website and through our programme of webinars. Members will also be offered preferential rates by our partners, Wellity Global and we thank them for their support.”

Simon Scott-Nelson, CEO of Wellity Global said: “I am delighted to be a Fellow of the Institute of Sales Professionals and also Chair of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Committee, collaborating with the world’s leading experts to bring the best advice to the sales industry.”

“Having come out the other side of burnout myself, with a healthy appreciation for my own mental health, I want everyone to be aware of the red flags. I vowed that when I rediscovered my ‘shield’, I would come back to the business world with a solution. That solution is Wellity Global.

“Wellity is far from a ‘fluffy’ wellbeing company; the Wellity solution is globally recognised and optimises employee mental health and working cultures by delivering targeted interventions, data-driven strategies, qualified professionals, staff engagement videos and the expert implementation of everything wellbeing for businesses to help prevent issues arising.

“We work with some of the largest and most well-known brands in the world but the reason we are successful is that we all personally connect with the individual stories of the employees themselves. It is a pleasure and a privilege to partner with the Institute of Sales Professionals.”

The Institute of Sales Professionals is also honoured to have the backing of Falklands veteran Simon Weston who has given his support to our campaign to promote mental wellbeing in sales.
